Midtown Partners

Midtown Partners, in collaboration with ELSEWORKS and Creative Economy Coordinator Jina Daniels, is dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership in the Midtown neighborhood. This initiative focuses on assessing vacant lots and developing strategic plans for residential development to revitalize the community. This semester, the team is conducting a comprehensive audit of Midtown’s vacant lots, evaluating their potential for homeownership opportunities. By analyzing property data, zoning regulations, and market conditions, the team aims to create actionable strategies that support sustainable residential growth.

In addition to lot assessments, financial research and cost analysis continue to play a critical role in securing funding and development resources for these efforts. The project also supports enhancing public spaces such as the Sustainable Arts Garden, contributing to Midtown’s community vibrancy. Together, these efforts seek to strengthen neighborhood stability, promote affordable housing, and foster lasting community connections in Midtown.
