Downtown Jackson Project

This semester, ELSEWORKS is partnering with Downtown Jackson Partners to support the revitalization of Jackson’s urban core through hands-on business research and policy analysis. Our team is conducting in-person site visits to local businesses to assess customer experience, branding, and operations. At the same time, we’re researching entertainment and nightlife regulations across comparable cities, identifying strategies that can help Jackson grow a safe, vibrant, and business-friendly downtown. From gathering data to proposing policy ideas, this project gives analysts a direct role in shaping the future of the city.
