BRIX is a new devlopment next door to the Midtown Depot in the old Lucky Town Brewing facility that will offer craft rum and rum-based cocktails. BRIX is a passion project created by Trey Malone, an entrepeneur in Midtown who is also the CEO of Northshore Specialty Coffee. Trey plans to create Jackson's first rum distllery using locally sourced sugar cane. The BRIX building plans include a bar that features rum, rum based cocktails and locally sourced beer, as well as space for Northshore Specialty Coffee The BRIX team will assist in the development of a business plan and capital budget for the distillery. Construction of the distillery is slated to begin in 2024.
